Felt like a proper grown up with wine, cocktails and a cheese selection lol.
The hair and make up went well considering we were in such a last minute made rush.
FIRST - the BEFORE picture. I apologise for the bad photos i didn't have time to take proper ones as guests started to arrive!)
(Note - I fully believe girls should use make up as decoration and NOT as a mask or as a crutch to your self confidence. Although I admit i'm not always comfortable with no make up on, i try to remind myself that appearance is not really who you are and i truly believe with all my heart that true beauty is totally within. When you are comfortable with what face god gave you, and stop slamming yourself for what you are not, can you really start to ENJOY make up as art and not as your confidence.)
I set my hair in rollers for 20 mins & added a white flower hairpiece I got for christmas.
My make up which you can't see very well is pale pink lips teamed with gunmetal and black eyeshadow with a dusting of glitter! And huge false eyelashes :)
My friend Katy I made more of an effort in her hair as she was the Birthday Girl.
I curled her entire head in 1 and 2 inch sections. Then back-combed and drew all her hair to the back of her head. I created a waterfall of loose curls and added a feathered fastinator to the side. Sprayed to fix.
I topped her look with L'oreal Infallible Red Lipstick in Beyonce :)
